Does anyone else notice this problem with the lids at Starbucks? Everytime I try to put a straw in my iced coffee, it's a nightmare. What the heck? I'm glad it's not just me!

I have the same problem, only with me the straw always gets stabbed and is rendered unuseable. Every time I've asked for a new lid, the Starbucks employee has rolled his or her eyes and said, "I know! Everyone hates these new lids, including us!"
Yup, it's terrible. These new lids are annoying. I use a wooden stir stick to pry the hole open before I insert the straw. It helps a little bit.
It's nice to know I'm not the only one.
OMG I thought I was the only one having issues. I spilled my drink last time trying to put the straw in!!! Darn you Starkbucks!
